What's the difference between a Podiatrist and a Chiropodist?
Podiatry is simply the new name for Chiropody. The name was changed to Podiatry in 1993 as it has become the internationally recognised name for a foot specialist.
My Story
I have always loved working in the medical and first aid fields. Starting with rookie lifeguarding as a child. Then onto lifeguarding during College and went from there into Podiatry.
I have always loved helping people and getting them out of pain and back to their full mobility.
I went to the University of Northampton where I gained my Podiatry BSc (Hons).
My areas of interest are Verruca's and Ingrown toe nails. I cover all areas of routine foot care like Corns and Callus removal and Diabetic care.
